Our Story
Started With a Simple Belief
It started in a small apartment in Berlin. Our founder Elena, a librarian by training, was frustrated — the best bookstores were closing and online alternatives felt cold and impersonal. She wanted somewhere that felt like a bookshop: warm, curated, and full of life.
In 2022, Bestsellers launched with just 500 titles and a handful of readers. We grew by word of mouth — reader by reader, recommendation by recommendation. Today we serve readers across Europe with over 10,000 titles and a community that genuinely loves books.
We're still a small, independent team. Every title, every category, every feature on this site is chosen with real care. We hope you feel that difference.
